“Bleeding Heart”: Putting My Soul Into the Music

Some songs are made to fill space. “Bleeding Heart” was made to leave something behind. It is one of the records where I put my soul into the music and hoped the right people would hear it—and it has connected more strongly than most of my songs.

The track brings together two sides of what I do: emotionally charged melody and precise, rapid-fire delivery. The feeling comes first, but the craft matters. Every shift in pace and every turn in the performance is there to carry the weight of the song.

The song found a life beyond its release

A release date does not decide when a song stops mattering. Music can find somebody months or years later and still hit at exactly the right moment. “Bleeding Heart” has continued to do that, becoming one of the clearest entry points into my catalog for listeners who want emotion, lyricism, and technical skill in the same record.
